As your York, PA dentist, Bowser Dentistry understands that your time is valuable. In order to streamline your visit, you can access all of our patient forms online, complete them at your convenience prior to your appointment, and bring them in with you to the office. If you would rather complete paperwork at our office, we ask that you arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment, enjoy a complimentary beverage, and feel free to ask for our assistance with any questions you might have.
What Can I Expect My First Visit?
During your first visit at Bowser Dentistry, our goal is to make you feel completely comfortable and valued as a patient and to provide you with excellent dental care.
When you arrive for your appointment, you will be warmly greeted by Kaitlin who will welcome you to help yourself at our coffee bar. Then you will meet our new patient coordinator, Ally, who will usher you through the rest of your visit.
We have new patient forms available online if you wish to print them out and bring them with you. If you choose not to do so, we will have these forms ready for you to fill out when you arrive and Ally can answer any questions you have. You will receive a tour of our office, and each of our staff members you come in contact with will introduce himself or herself to you.
After your introductory conversation with Ally, your dental assistant will take a series of photos and x-rays of your teeth and then introduce you to the doctor that you will be seeing. Dr. Bowser will complete a head and neck exam, an oral exam, and examine your bite. Periodontal (gum tissue) charting and a chart of all of your dental restorations will be completed. After all clinical data has been collected, Dr. Bowser will discuss your exams, photos, x-rays, and dental history with you. Most of the time, you will receive a dental cleaning during your first visit.
After her first visit with us, our patient, Judith M., commented, “I give kudos and a 10+ for the experience!” We’ll provide a superior dental experience for you too—on your first visit and every visit thereafter.
If you have dental insurance, we file your claims for you. We contact your insurance company to receive their portion of the fee for your services. You will be billed for the amount that your insurance does not cover.
If you don’t have dental insurance, payment in full is due at the time of your service, unless you have made other arrangements with us in advance.
We accept cash, checks, and Visa, MasterCard, and Discover credit cards. Financing through CareCredit® and Wells Fargo is available, with zero interest for qualified applicants.
